Format:  Teams play 5 Men & 5 Women
Registration:  $125.00 per team  Deadline for registration:  August 16, 2010
100% of the proceeds go to the "For the Love of Chance Center.  Round robin pool play, then tournament.  12 shirts for 1st and 2nd Place Teams.  Help us keep kids with Special need Programs Going!

Moundridge Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament

Cost: $55 per person (includes golf cart, lunch & prizes) Mulligans 3 for $10

USD 423 School Enrollment Day
When:  August 24, 2010
Where:  High School Commons
Enrollment will be taking place for grades K-12 from 12 pm until 8 pm
First day of school is September 7.  Last day of school is May 27, 2011
Homestead Trail Celebration
Homestead Trail Celebration will be held October 9, 2010 at the Cole House Museum, 402 W Cole.  Come join our community celebration with activities including a bon fire, old time music and games, blacksmith, weaving and quilting demonstrations, mountain man camp, horse rides, hay rack rides, cake walk, food and everything needed for a fun filled look into the past for families. 
2009 sees the addition of a chili cook off!  There will be an auction and a number of animals for everyone's enjoyment.  We are all excited to make the day fun for everyone involved.
The schedule for the day has been set!!  We hope you can join us for any or all of the fun!

Old Fashioned Christmas in Moundridge
Held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving 2010 date: November 20 and is Moundridge's ultimate celebration to kick off the holiday season. Surrey rides, open houses, great meals, ethnic foods, prize drawings, raffles, tours, music and entertainment and bake sales through out town during these hours as well.  Hours are 8:00 - 3:00 pm with in-store specials. There is a drawing for prizes at the end of the day. A $10 purchase from any Moundridge Merchant puts your name in hat. Winners will be notified and need not be present to win.

In 2000 an arts and crafts display was started at Greer auditorium. For information contact the Chamber at 620-345-6300. This has proved to be a fun time for everyone involved. Last year we had over 50 exhibitors. This event is advertised area-wide and draws visitors from Oklahoma to Nebraska and all points in between.  This will be a good day to come to town and SHOP!! Starlight Sale

As a way to help brighten up the community, to attract visitors and promote hometown appeal, the Chamber has sponsored a house decorating contest for local residents.  Residents are asked to register with the Chamber Office.  The entrants are to have their lights on so the judges can see their display.  During this time they will be judged by an out-of-town person.  Winners will be notified before December 23.  Prizes are provided in Chamber Bucks - gift certificates that can be redeemed at any participating Chamber merchant. But the real prizes belong to those who drive out and marvel at the displays.
Annual Rabies Clinic
Date:  January 8, 2011

Where: At the City Street Shop located at 215 S Christian. (Building just north of the city office) Clinic is held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
City Ordinance 720 requires ALL DOGS within the city be tagged & carry a current rabies vaccination certificate as of January 1st each year and shall be paid no later than 60 days thereafter. City tags are $3.00 per dog.
Becky Dillon of Maple Street Veterinary will be giving the shots.
If you have had your dog vaccinated by your own vet, please bring a copy of your CURRENT "Rabies Certficate" when you come to purchase your dog tag(s) for us to keep on file. Office hours are 8-12 and 1-5 Monday through Friday.

City Wide Garage Sales
Date: May 7, 2011- (First Saturday in May)
Registation dates will be announced as the date gets closer. If you have questions, please contact Deb Shaw at Goering Hardware, 345-2442 for registration forms. There is a $5.00 fee. This fee goes to printing costs of the map showing locations of the garage sales in town and advertising done in surrounding towns. Due to downsizing by the Salvation Army they will not be doing a City Wide pick up this year.

Black Kettle Festival
Date: June 4, 2011 (First Saturday after Memorial Day every year)

There will be food vendors set up through out the East Park and Wheatridge Park.  Local churches and businesses will have biscuits & gravy, homemade cinnamon rolls, brats, burgers, homemade pies, pulled pork sandwiches, ice cream, chalupa dinners and cotton candy!!

Vacation Bible School

Come and join us at the Moundridge Middle School.  We will be tracking Joseph's Journey from Prison to Palace.  Any area children from the age of Pre-K through 6th Grade are invited to take part.  Registration forms can be picked up at Associated Church Members, or you can register each day starting at 8:00 am.
Vaction Bible School Service
Date:  2011 Date TBA

Where:  East Black Kettle Park
What:  Participants will be having a program for the community.  Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the service.  Please join in the fun to see what the children learned.
9th Annual Children's Fishing Derby
Date: June 11, 2011

Held at William P. Pack Park in the north end of Moundridge. Open to Pre-Kdg - 6th grade. Prizes given to all participants.
