Recycling
The City of Moundridge encourages recycling. Don't forget our recycling center is located across the street from Moundridge High School
Hours are: Every Wednesday 4 pm - 7 pm
1st and 3rd Saturday: 9 am - 1 pm
Burnsite Mondays: 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm Trash issues Did you know Angel's Attic Moundridge Food Pantry
Reminder that yard debris is not supposed to be disposed of in your polycart. Please take it to the burnsite located 2 1/2 miles south of town: The only items that can be taken out to the burnsite are yard debris and raw wood (no paint or nails) that can be burned. This is under strict rules from the State of Kansas.

It seems lately we have had quite a few questions about trash being picked up or not. If McPherson Area Solid Waste Utility, takes a holiday on Monday or Tuesday, Moundridge will have their trash picked up a day later. Their drivers are usually out of town by 1:00 pm on Tuesday, so if it get to be close to noon and your trash has not been picked up yet, please do not hesitate to call the City Office at 345-8246. We will contact them and see if there is a problem. If you notice that your poly cart is broken in anyway, please call the City Office. Is is our responsibility to trade out broken poly carts.

Community clothing store where clothes are free!!! You may swap or donate clothes or just take what you need! Mission Statement: We encourage you to recycle and reuse clothing so that everyone has what they need.

Eligible persons may receive food twice a month. You will be required to sign your name and date each time you visit.

Eligibility: The Unemployed and their immediate families, the elderly and those on limited incomes, victims of disaster such as fire, serious illness, or other calamity.
You must live in the Moundridge School District.
Income determines need - you will need to know your monthly and yearly total income before deductions and you may be required to bring in proof of income.
